Door to Door Service

Bideford is the base for our new tour exploring North Devon. Picturesque, historic Clovelly is one of the best known and most unusual villages of the area with its cobbled high street that winds its way for half a mile down to the small harbour offering stunning views on the way. The delightful quayside village of Appledore which for centuries was an important ship-building centre is now home to the North Devon Maritime museum which offers a fascinating insight into the rich shipbuilding and sea faring history of the area. Take a guided tour at family run Quince Honey Farm, where their uniquely designed indoor apiary gives visitors a close-up view of the inner workings of the honey bee society.

There’s an hour boat trip from Ilfracombe to enjoy magnificent scenery with sightings of sea birds, seals and dolphins and spend the rest of the day exploring the popular Victorian seaside resort.

Please note that the only way to see Clovelly is by walking and the streets are steep, stepped and cobbled for half a mile although a land rover service is available for a nominal fee.
