Day 1

Your holiday starts with a pick up from home by one of the vehicles from our Door to Door service which will bring you through to our coach. Once everyone is on board, we'll make our way to Coventry for our visit to the Transport Museum, home to the largest publicly owned collection of British vehicles in the world. Whilst in Coventry, you may also like to visit the famous Coventry Cathedrals, both of which are within a short walk from the Museum. We'll leave Coventry late afternoon to continue our journey to the hotel.

Day 2

A leisurely start to the day before we head to Cadbury World for our Heritage Tour and Cream Tea. We'll tour Bournville on board the coach accompanied by a Guide and discover the Cadbury brothers' vision of a "Factory in a Garden" before taking a guided tour of the Cadbury World exhibition, which covers the Cadbury story, the manufacturing, the advertising so see how many of the Cadbury adverts you remember! In the Cadbury heritage centre, the Bournville experience focuses on the Quaker ethics of the Cadbury family and how Bournville was created. Your afternoon is completed with a Cream Tea before returning to the hotel late afternoon.

Day 3

Our visit today is to Hartlebury Castle, once home to the Bishops of Worcester for over 1000 years but has now been developed so that the south wing offers visitors the chance to explore the magnificent State Rooms including the magnificent Medieval Great Hall and the Georgian Saloon. The Hurd Library was built in 1782 by Richard Hurd, Bishop of Worcester, for his very fine collection of books and it is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful library rooms in the country. Over in the north wing, you'll find the displays and exhibitions which make up the Worcestershire County Museum. Amongst the many items on display you'll see toys, domestic items and beautiful costume and a host of horse-drawn vehicles. Rooms are set including the Scullery, Schoolroom and Nursery which bring history to life.

Day 4

When the owners of the Smith and Pepper jewellery manufacturing firm retired in 1981, they simply ceased trading and locked the door, unaware that they would be leaving a time capsule for future generations and what has now become the Museum of the Jewellery Quarter. In the company of our guide, we'll discover what it was like to work there.
We'll then make our way to Aston Hall, where a soup and sandwich lunch is included. The Hall, one of the last great Jacobean Houses to be built, is a magnificent seventeenth century red-brick mansion now restored to its former glory and the interiors are stunning.

Day 5

Leaving the hotel after breakfast we make our way to the attractive Georgian town of Bewdley. It retains its unique charm with a wealth of listed buildings and offers a range of shops and cafes. You'll also find the very popular Bewdley Museum which is set in a historic Butchers Shambles and not only has a vast range of artefacts on display but there are craftspeople working. We'll aim to spend a couple of hours in Bewdley before starting our journey to meet the Door to Door transfer vehicles who will be waiting to take you home.
