Gower Peninsula and Tenby

Sunday 25 October 2020

Discover Britain’s first ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’, the resort of Tenby. We experience the sheer beauty of The Gower with a visit to the Gower Heritage Centre, which offers crafts, a watermill and a museum but, most of all, enjoy a guided coach tour of the Peninsular itself. You are ensured of a visit to the picturesque Victorian seaside of Mumbles, with its boutiques, galleries and potteries, followed by a short stop in Swansea Bay. A visit to Carmarthen, the oldest town in Wales, shows us the popular Wednesday outdoor market, medieval lanes and Georgian buildings. Finally, we spend the day heading into Pembrokeshire to the historic seaside resort of Tenby, with its natural charm, narrow streets, harbour and beautiful beaches.
