Our new packaged itinerary is based at the excellent Norton Park Hotel and features a steam train journey on the Watercress Line, stunning Hampton Court Palace and a guided tour of the Bombay Sapphire Gin Distillery – tonics at the ready! Hampton Court Palace is a jewel among English royal palaces. It will be 500 years since King Henry VIII of England met King Francis I of France near Calais, for an astonishingly grand European Renaissance festival, designed to improve relations between the two great rival kingdoms.  Highlights include the vast Tudor kitchens where huge feasts were prepared and served to Henry VIII and his six wives in the adjoining Great Hall.  We visit the Mary Rose Exhibition, and the spectacular Spinnaker Tower, taking in the stunning views, whilst enjoying High Tea. Finally, we travel to Salisbury and visit Arundells House, Garden and Art Collection. The former home of Sir Edward Heath, the house is situated within the superb setting of the largest Cathedral Close in Britain.
