- Door to Door Service

Bowes Museum is housed in a building as impressive as the exhibits within. Built by John and Josephine Bowes to house their own vast collection, themed galleries are home to one of the most important collections of fine and decorative arts in the North of England. Now voted as "England’s favourite market town", 1300 years ago Hexham was the haunt of marauding Vikings. The town centre is filled with winding streets with Hexham Abbey at its hub. Enjoy a tour of this flourishing place of worship which was founded by the Northumbrian Saint and Bishop Wilfred in 674. Located at the heart of the Durham UNESCO World Heritage site, Durham Cathedral has been a place of worship, welcome and hospitality for almost 1000m years. Finally, enjoy all things glass at the National Glass Centre where you can see it being made, learn about the history of glass and wander around the exhibitions.
