Visit the Cinque Port town of Rye with its enchanting cobbled streets and beautifully preserved Tudor & Georgian buildings and the vibrant and colourful Regency resort of Brighton, take a trip back in time on the famous Bluebell Railway and spend a day exploring all that Eastbourne has to offer.

Day 1

The holiday starts with a pick up from home by one of our taxis or minibuses which will bring you through to the coach. Once everybody is on board we head down the A1 stopping off in Peterborough round lunchtime and then on to Eastbourne and arriving at the hotel in good time to check in and unpack before dinner.

Day 2

We travel along the Sussex coast stopping off at Beachy Head and on to Brighton. Take a walk through the historic Lanes pedestrian area finishing outside the Royal Pavilion. Experience the heritage of the Royal Pavilion, the Volks Railway - Britain's oldest electric railway and a taste of the Mediterranean at the Marina. After lunch (not included in the cost of your holiday) We travel on the Bluebell Railway from Sheffield Park to East Grinstead and back before returning to the hotel in plenty of time to get ready for dinner

Day 3

A free day to day to explore Eastbourne with its award-winning seafront, famous Carpet Gardens, Napoleonic fortress, harbour, 1930's bandstand and Victorian Pier. Maybe you want to venture further afield and visit nearby Beachy Head or even catch the bus to Hastings with its castle remains, a preserved Old Town and the steepest funicular railway in Britain.

Day 4

We start the day with a visit to the Cinque Port town of Rye with its enchanting cobbled streets and beautifully preserved Tudor & Georgian buildings. We spend the afternoon at Pashley Manor Gardens, an award winning quintessential English garden. A guided tour with the head gardener, lasting about one and a half hours has been arranged so that you can fully appreciate its sumptuous blend of romantic landscaping, fountains, springs and dazzling array of colourful displays

Day 5

Sadly, its tie to return home today and we leave the hotel straight after breakfast and head for Yorkshire. A break in Cambridge round lunchtime and then on to your drop off point arriving back early in the evening. From here, one of our Door to Door vehicles will return you home
